Aldrin Raphael Fernandes

Founder | Lead M&A Advisor

Aldrin started his career as a business owner, not a banker. Before moving to Canada, he built and scaled businesses across three continents, including companies reaching $37M in revenue and one that he sold to a publicly traded German media company. He knows what it costs to build something and what it means to finally decide what comes next.

Since founding A R Business Brokers in 2013, he has advised entrepreneurs and worked with individual, PE Groups, Family offices and institutional buyers on transactions across virtually every industry. He brings the same care to every file that he would want for his own. He has sat on both sides of the table and his clients feel the difference.

He served on the Board of IBBA Canada and holds the MCBI, CBI, CM&AA, and CM&AP designations. He and his team have received the IBBA Chairman’s Circle Award and Deal Maker Award every year since 2016.

Daryl Gloyns

Clancy Hoy has called Ottawa home for more than 20 years. Throughout his career, Clancy has helped hundreds of business owners maximize the potential of their businesses, first as an Advertising and Sales Specialist in radio, and then as a Business Broker since 2015.

Clancy’s candor, care and integrity are appreciated by his clients, helping them to know they are in good hands during the transaction. As a licensed real estate salesperson, Clancy holds the highest regard for performing all duties ethically and fairly.

In his spare time, Clancy enjoys playing the guitar, riding his bike around the trails of Ottawa, and spending time with his kids.
